About Barista Life

Barista Life started as a community of Starbucks baristas and grew into 100,000 coffee people: baristas behind the bar, home brewers chasing a better shot, and the coffee-curious trying to decode a menu.

The site runs on three things:

• Verified caffeine and nutrition data. Every number on this site is checked against the chain's published data or a reputable compiled source before it ships, and cited in the article. When a chain will not publish numbers, we say so and show where ours came from.
• Honest gear guidance. Written from behind the bar, not from a spec sheet. If a $30 grinder is enough, we say that.
• Shift-life culture. Memes, survival wisdom, and the truths only people who have worked a morning rush understand.
