Free tier

The public JSON dataset and the widget embed are free for non-commercial use with attribution ("data by Barista Life," linked). Bloggers, students, and hobby projects: that is you, enjoy.

Commercial license, $99

Building the data into an app, a paid tool, a publication, or anything that makes money? The commercial license covers one product or publication: attribution removed, commercial use granted, 12 months of dataset updates included. One-time purchase.

Widget white-label, $49

Run the interactive caffeine widget on your own site without the credit line and restyled to your brand: one domain, perpetual, 12 months of data updates.

Why license instead of scrape

Caffeine figures drift: menus reformulate, serving sizes change, sources correct themselves. The license buys the maintenance, not just the snapshot, plus a defensible provenance trail for every number you show your users. Enterprise needs (multiple products, redistribution, custom fields): use the contact page with subject "Data licensing".
