Editorial standards: how Barista Life verifies
Barista Life is written by people who work coffee, and every factual number on this site follows one rule: verified against a primary or reputable compiled source before it publishes, and cited on the page.
How we verify
Caffeine, nutrition, price, and spec figures are checked against the manufacturer's published data (nutrition PDFs, product facts pages, official manuals) or, where a brand does not publish, against compiled databases like Caffeine Informer and USDA FoodData Central, and labeled as such. Derived numbers (scaling a 12 oz figure to 20 oz) are marked as arithmetic. Ranges are printed as ranges, never flattened into fake precision.
What we will not do
No health advice: we publish the FDA's 400mg daily context figure and the math, and stop there. No invented product links: Amazon links are search links unless an exact product page is verified. No undisclosed affiliations: pages with affiliate links carry the disclosure above the first affiliate element.
Corrections
When a source updates or we get one wrong, the page gets fixed and the number re-cited. Spot an error: tell us and we will correct it, usually within the week.
Monetization, plainly
The site earns from display ads, Amazon Associates (as disclosed on each page), our own digital guides, and the Barista Life shop. No brand pays for a number, a ranking, or a verdict.
