Coffee Equipment Repair Shop Directory
A directory of independent coffee equipment repair shops, built the slow way. Right now it is empty. Every listing that appears here will be a real shop that applied, answered our questions, and agreed to the terms below. We are not going to scrape a map, buy a list, or generate a hundred city pages full of businesses we have never spoken to.

Why the directory is empty
The fastest way to launch a repair directory is to pull business names out of a maps API, spin up a page per city, and let the search traffic land on a wall of listings nobody verified. Those directories are everywhere, they are mostly wrong, and the phone numbers stopped working two years ago. A person whose $2,000 espresso machine is dead does not need another one of those.
So this one starts at zero and grows one shop at a time. The count on this page will always be the real count. If it says four shops, there are four shops.
What a listing contains
Every entry, free or featured, carries the same fields. No listing is padded with marketing copy we wrote for you.
- Business name, city, and state.
- Phone, website, and the best way to actually reach a human.
- What you service: brands, machine types, commercial or domestic or both.
- Whether you take mail-in repairs, and from where.
- Typical turnaround, in your own words.
- Whether you carry parts or order them per job.
- Whether you do on-site service and how far you travel.
- One line, written by you, on what you are good at.
How a shop gets listed
Step 1: apply
Send us the fields above through the contact page, subject line "Repair shop listing". Include a website or a business page we can look at, and the name of the person we are talking to.
Step 2: we check what we can check
We confirm the business exists, that the contact details work, and that the description of what you service matches what your own site says. We call or email the number you give us. That is the extent of it, and we say so plainly below.
Step 3: you approve the entry before it goes live
We send you the exact text of your listing. Nothing publishes until you say it is right. If we got a detail wrong, we fix it before anyone sees it.
Step 4: it goes up
Basic listings are free and stay free. There is no trial, no card, and no upsell attached to getting listed.
What we verify, and what we do not
This matters more than anything else on the page, so it is written flatly.

Free listing or featured listing
Two tiers, and the difference is placement, not credibility.

Featured Repair Shop Listing, $99 for 12 months. Your card sits at the top of your state's section and at the top of the national list, visually highlighted, and carrying a visible "Paid placement" label so nobody is misled about why it is there. Also includes a link from the relevant machine troubleshooting guides where your brands match, and one social mention drafted by us for you to post. To take it, apply for a listing first through the contact page and say you want the featured tier. We verify the shop before any money changes hands, and if we cannot verify it we do not sell you a placement. |
The honest reach note. This directory is brand new and has no listings, which means it has no directory traffic either. What Barista Life does have is a large library of coffee equipment troubleshooting guides that people land on when their machine breaks, and that is the audience the directory sits next to. We are not going to convert that into a promised number of phone calls, because we do not have the data to promise one. The featured tier is priced as a founding-rate placement on a growing site, not as a lead generation product. If that is not worth it to you yet, take the free listing and wait.
What gets a listing removed
- The phone number or email stops working and does not get fixed after we ask.
- The business closes, moves, or changes what it does without telling us.
- We get credible reports of customers being charged for work that was not done, or equipment not returned. We will contact you first and print nothing publicly, but the listing comes down.
- You ask us to remove it. One email, no retention conversation, no exit survey.
A paid listing removed for the reasons above is refunded pro rata for the unused months, except where it comes down because of the third bullet.
If your machine is broken right now
The directory cannot help you yet, so here is what can. A large share of dead machines are a descale cycle, a blocked group, a failed solenoid, or a pump that is fine but starved of water. Start here:
- Fix your coffee maker, the troubleshooting hub, sorted by symptom and brand.
- The repair or replace calculator, for when the quote comes back and you need to decide whether it is worth it.
- The descale schedule generator, for the failure mode that causes the most avoidable repair bills.
