7 Brew publishes exactly one caffeine number, and it is for decaf: the official 7 Brew FAQ says each shot of their decaf espresso has "about 2mg or less" of caffeine. That is it. For lattes, cold brew, teas, and the 7 Energy line, the chain does not disclose caffeine content, and the same FAQ confirms there is no nutritional document available online. This page lays out what actually verifies, which drinks 7 Brew confirms are caffeine-free, and how to estimate everything else without trusting the fake menu sites that fill page one of Google.
The chain that won't tell you
Search for 7 Brew caffeine numbers and you get a wall of unofficial "menu" sites. They contradict each other, none of them cite a source, and none of them are run by 7 Brew. Caffeine Informer, the database most caffeine pages on this site check against, has no 7 Brew entry at all. So when a site tells you a large 7 Energy has some exact milligram figure, ask where it came from. It came from nowhere.
What 7 Brew does say, on its own site: allergen charts exist at each stand, nutrition questions go through the contact form, and the menu runs to "over 20,000 possible flavor combinations" across categories like 7 Originals, 7 Classics, 7 Energy, 7 Fizz sodas, teas, chai, matcha, lemonades, smoothies, and shakes. The official 7 Energy page describes the line as available in Original and Sugar-Free and customizable with any flavor, and stops there. No milligrams anywhere.
What actually verifies, drink by drink
Every row below traces to 7 Brew's own FAQ and menu pages. Where the chain has not published a number, the table says so instead of inventing one.
| Drink line | Caffeinated? | What 7 Brew discloses |
|---|---|---|
| 7 Originals and 7 Classics (espresso drinks) | Yes | No caffeine figure published. Most can be made decaf or half-caf on request. |
| Cold brew | Yes | No caffeine figure published. Per the FAQ, cold brew is the one coffee drink that cannot be made decaf or half-caf. |
| 7 Energy (Original and Sugar-Free) | Yes | No caffeine figure published for any size. |
| Decaf espresso | Barely | "About 2mg or less of caffeine in each shot" (official FAQ). The only number 7 Brew publishes. |
| Teas, chai and matcha | Yes, naturally | No caffeine figures published. |
| 7 Fizz sodas | No | Listed among 7 Brew's caffeine-free drinks in the FAQ. |
| Lemonades | No | Listed as caffeine-free in the FAQ. |
| Smoothies | No | Listed as caffeine-free in the FAQ. |
| Shakes | No | Listed as caffeine-free in the FAQ. |
One more data point from outside the drive-thru: in March 2026, 7 Brew launched ready-to-drink canned espresso beverages in Walmart stores across Arkansas, 11 oz cans at $2.98. The press release does not state caffeine content either, but packaged beverages carry printed labels, so if you can get your hands on a can, the can will tell you more than the website does.
How to estimate your drink anyway
For the espresso drinks, you can get to a reasonable estimate the barista way: find out the shot count, then multiply by a benchmark. Caffeine Informer puts a standard espresso shot at 77mg per 1.5 fl oz, and notes that measured double shots have ranged from 58mg to 185mg depending on the coffee and the pull. That spread is exactly why a per-shot benchmark beats a made-up per-drink number. Ask your brewista how many shots go in your size. They know, even if the website doesn't say.
Cold brew is the wildcard. Concentration varies so much between brewers that no benchmark applies cleanly, which is one reason our cold brew caffeine guide leans on brands that publish their numbers. 7 Brew's refusal to allow decaf or half-caf cold brew tells you the caffeine is baked into the batch, not added per drink.
For context, the FDA cites 400mg of caffeine a day as an amount generally not associated with negative effects in healthy adults. How caffeine affects you depends on your own tolerance and health, so treat these numbers as information, not advice.

How 7 Brew compares to chains that do publish
7 Brew's closest rival built its business on the same drive-thru energy-drink formula, and our Dutch Bros caffeine guide shows what that category looks like when numbers are available. If your commute runs past a more traditional chain, the Dunkin caffeine breakdown covers every size of their lineup. And for the fullest published dataset in the industry, drink by drink and size by size, start with our Starbucks caffeine content guide. Reading those side by side makes 7 Brew's silence stand out. Every major competitor discloses; 7 Brew asks you to trust the vibe.

FAQ
How much caffeine is in a 7 Brew Energy drink? 7 Brew does not publish a caffeine figure for 7 Energy in any size. The numbers floating around on unofficial menu sites contradict each other and cite no source, so we do not reprint them. If you need a real figure, ask at the stand or use 7 Brew's contact form.
Does 7 Brew have decaf, and how much caffeine is in it? Yes. 7 Brew's FAQ says each decaf espresso shot has about 2mg or less of caffeine, and most coffee drinks can be made decaf or half-caf. Cold brew is the one exception. For why decaf is never fully caffeine-free, see our decaf caffeine explainer.
Which 7 Brew drinks are caffeine-free? Per the official FAQ, the smoothies, shakes, 7 Fizz sodas, and lemonades are caffeine-free. Everything in the coffee, energy, tea, chai, and matcha lines contains caffeine in undisclosed amounts.
