What is not covered, and what voids it
Hamilton Beach lists the exclusions in one sentence: the warranty "does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse." Glass means the carafe, which is the part most likely to break on a drip machine, so budget for it separately.
Two clauses void it outright: "This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the rating label (e.g., 120V ~ 60 Hz)." An office break room counts against you, and so does a travel adapter.

Hamilton Beach's warranty page directs you to the paperwork first: "For information in regards to the limited warranty for your specific Hamilton Beach product, please refer to your Use and Care booklet. If you have misplaced your booklet, please see our on-line Use and Care page." Blenders have their own separate warranty document, so do not read a blender term across to a coffee maker.
How to make a claim
"To make warranty claim, do not return this appliance to the store. Please write Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc., Attn: Consumer Affairs, 261 Yadkin Road, Southern Pines, NC 28387, or visit hamiltonbeach.com/customer-service in the US or hamiltonbeach.ca/customer-service in Canada." Have the model, type and series numbers from the appliance ready, which Hamilton Beach says makes the service faster. Canada and Mexico have their own service center lists.

A FlexBrew that will not pump or will not brew on one side is usually scale or a seated-pod problem, neither of which is a defect. Work through not pumping water, the K-Cup side not brewing, descaling, and FlexBrew replacement parts.
