Classic models (K-Elite, K-Classic, older brewers)

On the K-Supreme, with the brewer plugged in but powered OFF, hold the 8oz and 12oz buttons together for 3 seconds; the descale light turns solid and the machine runs the cycle properly. The K-Duo's procedure budget is about 75 minutes end to end per its care guide. Skipping Descale Mode is why the descale light stays on after people descale; the machine never registered the cycle.
