SToK cold brew caffeine content: every bottle and can

SToK cold brew contains approximately 120 to 170mg of caffeine per 12oz serving, per SToK's own FAQ. Where a specific flavor lands inside that range varies: the 13.7oz single-serve Un-Sweet Black bottle carries about 145mg, Un-Sweet Extra Bold tops the lineup at 170mg, and the creamed flavors run lower. The 11oz Cold Brew Energy cans are a different animal entirely at 195mg per can, the figure SToK states in its own retail product listings, boosted with guarana and ginseng on top of the coffee.

The 48oz bottle is where people miscount

Most SToK sold in grocery stores is the 48oz multi-serve jug, and the label math trips people up. SToK's product pages list the serving size as 12 fl oz with about 4 servings per container. Nobody I have ever worked with pours exactly 12 ounces. Fill a 16oz pint glass and you are taking on roughly a third more caffeine than the per-serving number suggests. Caffeine Informer pegs SToK at about 10.58mg of caffeine per fluid ounce, so a full pint of the black stuff runs around 170mg, and a pint of Extra Bold lands higher still.

Run the numbers on the whole bottle and it gets serious. Four servings of Extra Bold at 170mg each puts the full 48oz jug near 680mg. That is not a day's drink, that is most of a week of espresso shots. The regular Un-Sweet Black bottle works out to roughly 480 to 580mg for the full container. Treat the jug as four days of coffee, not one.

One more comparison worth knowing: SToK's own cold brew explainer says typical cold brew has 92mg of caffeine per 12oz serving. By their own framing, SToK brews stronger than the category baseline, which tracks with the 145mg-class numbers below.

Decaf cold brew per 12oz serving about 97% of caffeine removed

Per-flavor figures via Caffeine Informer. The official per-serving range and the decaf figure come from SToK's FAQ, and the Energy can figure of 195mg is stated in SToK's own retail product copy for the Cold Brew Energy line. The Monster comparison below is also per Caffeine Informer. SToK does not print exact caffeine numbers on every product page, so the per-flavor amounts are approximate and can shift with reformulations. Check the bottle in your hand if the exact dose matters to you.

For context, the FDA cites 400mg of caffeine a day as an amount generally not associated with negative effects in healthy adults. How caffeine affects you depends on your own tolerance and health, so treat these numbers as information, not advice.

A note on the Energy line: at 195mg in an 11oz can, one can plus a regular coffee already puts you past 300mg. The caffeine comes from coffee plus added guarana, and guarana is itself a caffeine source, so it stacks rather than doing something separate. If you want to try the lineup, you can find SToK cold brew multi-packs on Amazon, though it is usually cheaper by the ounce at a grocery store.

FAQ

How much caffeine is in a whole 48oz bottle of SToK? Roughly 480 to 680mg depending on the variety, based on SToK's stated 120 to 170mg per 12oz serving and about 4 servings per bottle. That is more than the FDA's 400mg daily guideline in a single container, so pace the jug across days.

Does SToK decaf still have caffeine? Yes, a little. SToK says its decaf process removes about 97% of the caffeine, which is standard for decaf. A serving carries a small residual amount rather than zero, so it is a light dose, not a caffeine-free one.

Is SToK Cold Brew Energy stronger than a regular energy drink? At 195mg per 11oz can it beats a standard 16oz Monster (160mg) in a smaller package. It gets there with coffee plus guarana and ginseng, so treat it like a strong coffee and an energy drink combined when counting your daily total.
