What is etched on it:

• The starting recipe: 1:2 ratio, 18g in, 36g out, 25 to 30 seconds, 90 to 96C.
• The fix tree: tastes sour, go finer, hotter, or longer. Tastes bitter, go coarser, cooler, or shorter. One variable at a time.

It is the pocket version of our free dial-in cheat sheet and the espresso troubleshooter, for the moments you are standing at someone else's machine.
